Have you tried short mat bowling?

We are delighted that the first new booking in the Town Hall is for short mat bowling. It is similar to bowling outdoors, but without the inclement weather!  Many regulars at Beechgrove Bowling Club, as well as some new faces turn up every Tuesday afternoon [2 p.m to 4 p.m.] to try their skill on the green short mats.  The first 2 afternoons were 'sold out' with more than 20 players trying their hand.  Andy Armstrong, who arranged the sessions, is delighted to be using the Town Hall as the venue, and at the turn out which has resulted.  The 'season' lasts until March, so come along and have a look; it is a great social environment as well as healthy exercise!  If you want more information give Andy a ring on 01683 221580.
