BUSINESS AS USUAL

There seems to be a little confusion around Moffat regarding the Town Hall. It will be BUSINESS AS USUAL whilst the refurbishment works recently started are ongoing.

Events happening at the Town Hall:

Tuesday 25 June, 19.00 - 21.30: MOFFAT and DISTRICT COMMUNITY COUNCIL monthly meeting

Saturday 22 June, 10.30 - 12.00: COFFEE MORNING in aid of Hartfell Lodge 728

Friday 21 June, 09.00 - 14.00: WEEKLY MARKET

Friday 14 June, 09.00 - 14.00: WEEKLY MARKET

Sunday 9 June, 11.00 - 15.00: MOFFAT FARMERS' MARKET. Market inside and outside the Town Hall. Around 25 stalls manned by friendly producers selling their own locally made/grown foods and crafts. Minimum 60% food stalls. Wide range of delicious food, including hot meat rolls and soup.

Friday 7 June, 09.00 - 14.00: WEEKLY MARKET

Tuesday 28 May, 19.00: MOFFAT AND DISTRICT COMMUNITY COUNCIL A.G.M. All welcome.

Sunday 26 May, 10.00-15.00: ALZHEIMERS SCOTLAND Craft fundraising day. Galloway Fudge will be there, there will be handmade glass, crafts, demonstrations and jewellery, etc.

Saturday 25 May, 19.30-22.00: MOFFAT SHOW SOCIETY RACE NIGHT

Doors open 19.30 with first race at 19.45. Bar available and raffle - donations always welcome! Admission: £2 at the door.

All welcome for a fun night out!

Friday 24 May, 09.00-14.00 WEEKLY MARKET

Sunday 12 May, 11.00-15.00: MOFFAT FARMERS' MARKET. Market inside and outside the Town Hall. Around 25 stalls manned by friendly producers selling their own locally made/grown foods and crafts. Minimum 60% food stalls. Wide range of delicious food, including hot meat rolls and soup.

Sunday 5 May, 10.30-16.30: Moffat Academy Fund Raising and Social Committee's Annual Spring Craft Fair. 26 local makers will be exhibiting their handicrafts with an emphasis on quality.

Saturday 11 May, 10.30-12.00: Moffat Scout Group Coffee Morning

Saturday 4 May, 10.30-12.00: Coffee Morning raising funds for Moffat Wildlife Club and helping towards the upkeep of their Nature Reserve at the entrance to the town. Grand Prize Draw - First Prize - £100.00 (donated by A.M. Grieve, Newsagents). Second Prize - £25.00. Tickets £1.00 each for a Wildlife Sculpture that has been donated by Peter Bowsher, to be drawn separately are available at Grieves prior to the event.

Friday 3 May, 0900-1300: Weekly Market.

Saturday 27 April, 10.30-12.00: Coffee Morning in support of Beattock, St. Andrew's and Wamphray Churches. All the usual stalls. The organisers look forward to your support.

Friday 26 April, 0900-13.00: Weekly Market.

Tuesday 23 April 1900-22.00: Moffat Community Council Monthly Meeting-All welcome to come along, question and listen.

Saturday 13th April, 10.30-12.00: Coffee Morning in support of Moffat Gala. All the usual stalls - don't miss the cake stall!

Saturday 6th April, 10.30-12.00: Coffee Morning in support of the Moffat Museum. Lots of great stuff and great value.

Friday 29th March, 09.00-13.00: Weekly Market.

Tuesday 26th March, 18.30-22.00: Moffat Community Council Monthly Meeting-All welcome to come along and question and listen.

Tuesday 26th March, 14.00-16.00: Short Mat Bowling-all welcome to give it a try.

Saturday 23rd March, 13.00-15.00: Gail Burns School of Dancing. This is a fun class aimed at age 3 upwards featuring tap, ballet, Highland, etc.

Saturday 23rd March, 10.30-12.00: Coffee Morning in support of Moffat Rugby Club.

Friday 22nd March, 09.00-13.00: Weekly Market

Tuesday 19th March, 19.30: Moffat Neighborhood Watch launch meeting.

Tuesday 19th March, 14.00-16.00: Short Mat Bowling

Saturday 16th March, 13.00-15.00: Gail Burns School of Dance. This is a fun class aimed at Age 3 upwards and is a mix of tap, highland, ballet and other sstyles.

Saturday 16th March, 7.30pm to Midnight: A "Scottish Night" with a Ceileidh featuring the well respected William Williamson and a bar/buffet and disco.

This is organised by Moffat First Responders and is a fantastic cause with tickets just £10 from the Buccleuch Arms and going fast!!

Saturday 16th March, 10.30-12.00: Coffee Morning organised jointly in support of the Moffat Garden Trail and Moffat Book Events-well worth supporting.

Friday 15th March, 09.00-13.00: Weekly Market.

Tuesday 12th March, 14.00-16.00: Short Mat Bowling

Sunday 10th March, 11.00-15.00: Farmer's Market.

Saturday 9th March, 10.30am-12.00: Johnstonebridge Primary School Coffee Morning
